Normally with a pencil pleat top and a gathered frill to the base and with a scallop base that gathers upwards when the control cord is drawn. They generally have a substantial stack at the top and can also be blockout lined. We always back line frills with plain cotton or blockout lining to eliminate fading and to present a better look from outside, we also add piping-self or contract-above the base frill at no extra cost.
